Shakespeare Classic line Ltd are  the managing agency for the timeshare Narrowboats and Houseboats at Mercia marina, having moved from their former base at Barton Turns Marina.

We have had timeshares with them since about 2002 and during that time we have been impressed with the level of service they have given and have had few complaints.

When things have gone wrong they have also delivered swift and practical solutions.

Like anyone managing a fleet of boats on the inland waterways their task is not without problems, on change over days for instance the team  have to work through a hectic routine to get the maintenance and cleaning of the boats done in the few hours between return to base and departure for the next week.

Nature can also be against them, especially when the water levels in the river Trent are high, leaving the weir  south of the marina too dangerous to cross and  boats trapped above it!
